Children's National Regional Medical Center
A wholly-owned affiliate of Municipal Acquisitions purchased the Children's National Prince George's County Regional Medical Center in a $59 million transaction. The regional medical center is a build-to-suit three-story building with approximately 60,000 gross square feet situated on approximately 1.402 acres of land that houses a pediatric ambulatory surgery center and includes space for pediatric medical offices. The Children's National Prince George's County Regional Medical Center is the largest regional outpatient facility in Children's Hospital portfolio. Municipal Acquisitions restructured the lease with Children's National, offering substantial economic benefits, including eventual lien-free ownership. The acquisition was financed through the issuance of tax exempt and taxable bonds subject to an agency agreement between the Arizona Industrial Development Authority and the Municipal Acquisitions affiliate involved in the transaction.
