Managing Director & Principal
Jeff Pacy is a Managing Director & Principal with Municipal Acquisitions. As a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 20 years’ experience, he spearheads Municipal Acquisitions’ expansion and investment strategies. Mr. Pacy focuses on forging new partnerships with municipalities, colleges & universities, non-profit health systems, and other public-sector organizations. He also serves as the point of contact for a network of developers, contractors, and real estate professionals nationwide to source new development, renovation, and acquisition opportunities.
Notable achievements include formulating a strategy to respond to a competitive RFP issued by Eastern Kentucky University. Municipal Acquisitions and its team were selected by the university in 2016 and the ensuing transaction grew its real estate portfolio by approximately $121 million.
More recently, Mr. Pacy approached the University of Indianapolis with a proposal to acquire their newly constructed Health Pavilion. The university was master leasing the property from a developer and a Municipal Acquisitions’ solution offered substantial economic benefits to the university. In 2019 Municipal Acquisitions purchased the asset, restructured the lease, and curtailed an existing ground lease by 20 years. This transaction dramatically lowered total annual occupancy costs and projected savings for the university are estimated to be $40 million over the next 30 years.
Mr. Pacy is a native of Ruxton, Maryland. In 1996, he graduated from the University of Virginia earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in US History with concentrations in English Literature and Economics. Mr. Pacy was also a member of the men’s varsity lacrosse team. Outside of work, he is a member of the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Connecticut and the Society of Colonial Wars in the District of Columbia. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time on the Chesapeake Bay with his family.
