Martin and North Halls
In November 2015, Municipal Acquisitions and its team won a competitive RFP issued by Eastern Kentucky University to build two new on-campus residence halls. In May 2016, a wholly-owned affiliate of Municipal Acquisitions closed on this transformative transaction. The $75 million project, which includes approximately 1,100 beds and offers EKU students modern amenities and collaborative learning spaces, typical of best in class modern facilities. The development of these buildings is part of the recently implemented campus revitalization program, focused on enhancing student experience and long term student retention.
EKU elected to utilize Municipal Acquisitions’ proprietary Manage & Maintain structure. This project was delivered in July 2017, on time and under budget.
